News from the PE shed!
I would like to congratulate the following students for winning Year Level Champion at our Athletics Days last term:
Year level house winners were as follows:
Year 2: Acacia
Year 3: Eucalypt
Year 4: Blue Gum
Year 5: Acacia
Year 6: Acacia
Overall, Banksia finished on 246 points, Eucalypt 278 points, Acacia 309 points and Blue Gum 360 points.
The Oceanic Track and Field Championships will be held in Week 4 and I would like to congratulate the following students for making our school team:
In other news, congratulations to Louie, Max and Nixon from Year 5 who recently competed in the Queensland Athletics School Cross Country Championships, finishing with a silver medal in the relay event. What a terrific effort by the boys!
