🎬 Caningeraba Community Movie Night – A Fantastic Evening!
What a night! Families gathered on the oval for food, fun, and a movie under the stars, making our Community Movie Night a truly memorable event last Friday.
Thank you to everyone who joined us — the laughter, games, and smiles made the evening so special!
A big shoutout to our amazing supporters: Gold Coast Bakery, Snow Flow located in Burleigh, GeckoSports, Paints & Giggles Facepainting Gold Coast, and State MP Hermann Vorster, who joined us on the BBQ.
We also extend our thanks to Division 12 Councillor Nick Marshall, whose community grant provided additional lighting to help keep the event safe and welcoming for everyone.
Miami State High School, who kindly lent their popcorn machine for the event. Your contributions made the night even more enjoyable.
And of course — a HUGE THANK YOU to our INCREDIBLE VOLUNTEERS! The evening would not have been possible without your time, energy, and enthusiasm.
It was a perfect reminder of the vibrant, supportive Caningeraba community we are so lucky to be part of.
All funds raised from the sausage sizzle will go towards supporting our school community projects, including our Tournament of Minds teams heading to compete in the international competition and the community garden renovation.

We may not have managed to grab a photo of everyone on the day, but please know how much you're appreciated! From setting up and packing down, to serving, sorting, smiling, and keeping things running smoothly — your help behind the scenes made all the difference.
Our events are only possible because of the incredible people who put their hands up to help. Whether you spent the morning setting up, helped at a stall, cleaned up at the end, or simply jumped in when needed — your efforts didn't go unnoticed.
