We are thrilled to announce that Caningeraba State School has received $12 500 funding through the Queensland Department of Education's Growing Global Competence Fund for our exciting initiative, Global Citizenship. As you will be aware, Global Citizenship is a new subject that we introduced this year, unique to Caningeraba. It is designed to inspire and equip all students in years 1-4 to contribute to making the world a better place through the application of our 21st Century Learning Skills (Contribute, Challenge, Critique, Create, Communicate and Collaborate), which are fundamental to our school vision:
We are committed to educating happy, healthy, confident 21st century learners.
The students build global competence skills through exploring global issues, embracing diverse perspectives, learning to communicate with impact and contributing to a more inclusive, sustainable world.

Global Citizenship reflects our ongoing commitment to preparing young people for the opportunities and challenges of an interconnected world.
Stay tuned as our students continue to put global competence into action!
