Caningeraba P&C: Our Achievements, Vision & Future Plans

Our Achievements: What We've Accomplished Together

Thanks to the incredible efforts of our school community, we've made significant strides over the years. Some of our proudest achievements include:

New Playground: A Huge Success!
Over the past three years, we've raised $195,000 to build a new, inclusive playground. This exciting space fosters physical activity, creativity, and social interaction, benefiting generations of Caningeraba students – a lasting legacy.

Other Contributions:
The P&C has also contributed to several other improvements around the school, including:

  • Renovations to the school hall to create a better space for events and activities.
  • Upgrades to junior facilities, providing a safer and more engaging environment for our younger students.
  • Improvements to the tennis courts and basketball backboards, ensure well-maintained, functional outdoor spaces.

These upgrades would not have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers and the ongoing support of the Caningeraba community. These projects are helping to create a more dynamic and enriching environment for our students.

What's Next? Vision for 2025: Growing, Learning & Eating Together!

Looking ahead, we're excited to continue building on our achievements and creating new opportunities for our students. Here are two major projects we are focusing on for 2025:

🌱 Growing for Good: Our School Community Garden

We're expanding our community garden to provide fresh, local produce for our tuckshop meals. This project will encourage healthy eating and offer students hands-on learning experiences about sustainability, gardening, and nutrition.

🍽️ Tuckshop Transformation: Upgrading for a Better Future!

Our tuckshop infrastructure is outdated, with much of the equipment over 15 years old. To ensure we can continue to provide nutritious and affordable meals, we're investing in new equipment that will help us serve students more efficiently.
