School council

Caningeraba State School is an Independent Public School (IPS) with an established School Council as part of this initiative. The School Council plays an important role in contributing to the strategic leadership of the school to assist in achieving the best learning outcomes for our students. This strategic role serves as a vital link between our school, local industry and the greater Gold Coast community.

Why join our School Council?

  • to get to know more people within our school community

  • to help foster a link between our school and the local community

We are now calling for parents of a student/s of Caningeraba State School to nominate for the following position:
  • 1 elected parent member  

How to nominate:

Please complete and submit a Nomination Form. The Nomination Form is available from our Administration office between 8.00am and 3.30pm on school days or can be downloaded from this website.

Please return your nomination form by 3.30 p.m. Monday, 1 August 2016. This can be done by:

  • delivering to the school front desk during school hours (by 3.30 p.m. Monday, 1st August 2016)

  • e-mail to

  • fax to 07 5568 6300

  • mail to Returning Officer, c/- Caningeraba State School, Whistler Drive, BURLEIGH WATERS QLD 4220 (all envelopes containing this nomination form must be post stamp dated before 1st August 2016)

Election Location:  P & C Meeting 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Resource Centre
