Welcome to Prep
At Caningeraba we aim to create a relaxed, secure and supportive environment where children are encouraged to investigate and explore to their individual potential.
These first years of formal education are full of adventure, discovery and growing independence. Substantial time is spent laying firm foundations of understanding within literacy and numeracy with the classroom teacher.
Our Prep year is a new learning environment with exciting things to do, see, touch and experience. Your child will find friends to share with and teachers who respect them as capable and competent learners. Learning involves developing a relationship of trust. We aim to create a relaxed, secure and supportive environment where children are encouraged to investigate and explore to their individual potential.
Caningeraba preparatory teachers implement the content of the Australian Curriculum in the key learning areas of English, Mathematics, Science, Health & Physical Education, The Arts, Technologies (Digital and Design), History and Geography (HASS).

Extra sessions will also be available Wednesdays and Fridays. These sessions will be 11:30am – 1:00pm.
