Superstar Caningeraba student, Cru from year three, is currently performing as 'Chip', (the little teacup child of Mrs Potts), in the spectacular stage musical - Beauty and the Beast, at the Lyric Theatre, QPAC.
The show has been described as a 'sensational visual and auditory feast – Broadway's best in Brisbane'. Mrs Naughton, (our Drama and Dance teacher), and Mrs Elliott, (our music teacher), were certainly not disappointed by the impressive set, captivating lighting and costumes, the magical characters, and of course the masterfully executed music, song and dance. There was also a coincidently well-timed French influence, with the celebratory retirement of our beloved French Teacher, Madame Wada.
It is a phenomenal achievement to be cast in a show of this calibre, and to perform alongside such an accomplished and talented adult cast. Bravo Cru on a very authentic and enchanting performance!
