The Oceanic Cross-Country Championship went ahead last Thursday the 15th of May. Due to field closures at Pizzey Park, the event was held around the outside of the Nerang Velodrome and into the Nerang State Forest. It was a great course for cross-country running with our athletes' encountering hills, lots of mud, a narrow, slippery goat track and a raucous crowd cheering them on! Louie (1st), Leo (2nd), Nixon (3rd), Bailey (7th), Beau (8th), Emmy (9th), Max (10th) and Bailey (10th) have qualified for the South Coast Championships, to be held on Tuesday the 3rd of June at Runaway Bay.
