Bandanna Day is an annual fundraising and awareness campaign in Australia for Canteen, a charity supporting young people aged 12-25 affected by cancer. It takes place on the last Thursday of October and involves people buying and wearing bandannas to raise money for support services like counseling and peer support programs. 
Purpose: To raise funds and awareness for young people and their families dealing with the impact of cancer.
  • Date: The last Thursday of October each year. For 2025, it is on Thursday, October 30.
  • How to get involved: Purchase a Bandanna for $7 on Wednesday or Thursday. Limited stocks. Be Eco Friendly and wear a previously purchased bandana and donate the money!
  • What the funds support: Money raised goes to providing free and tailored support, counseling, peer support programs, and other services that help young people cope with cancer.​
