We are thrilled to share some incredible sporting achievements from our talented students over the past few weeks.
Firstly, a huge congratulations to Bailey (Year 5) and Arianna (Year 4), who have both been selected for the South Coast Swimming Team. This is a remarkable achievement, and they will now represent our school and region at the Queensland Swimming Championships on the 25th of March. We wish them the very best as they dive into this exciting opportunity!
In other fantastic news, we are delighted to announce that Emmy, Lace, and Millie have been selected for the Oceanic Girls AFL Team. Additionally, Luca, Harrison, Calvin, Max, and Sonny have all made the Oceanic Boys AFL Team. To have eight of our Year 6 students selected for these teams is an extraordinary accomplishment and a testament to their skills and teamwork. The South Coast AFL trials will take place on Tuesday of Week 10, and we are confident our students will represent our school and district with pride and determination.
Additionally, we are excited to celebrate Rikkelle, Lace and Emmy (all in Year 6) who have been selected for the 11 Year and 12 Year Girls Oceanic Netball Teams. This is another outstanding achievement, and we can't wait to find out how they perform at the South Coast Championships on Thursday of Week 10. Finally, Charlie and Benji (Year 5) also made the 11 Year Boys Oceanic Rugby League team, which is a huge effort in a very competitive trial that was held over two sessions. Best of luck at the South Coast trail in Term 2, boys!
It has been a busy and successful few weeks for our sporting stars, and we are so proud of their efforts and achievements. Please join us in congratulating all of these students on their incredible accomplishments and wishing them the best of luck in their upcoming competitions and trials.β
